Cath Kidston Competition

I entered a YCN competition to design a new print for Cath Kidston.

I decided to do a print about Classic Literature. As books as they're full of stories, history, imagination, wonder and they are very recognisable. So it fits with the brand well. This lead to do objects from classic British titles such as Wind in the Willows and Treasure Island.

Bird Print

I did a dry point print of a bird, then added vines and patterend branches for the background.

Dreamcatcher Screen Prints

This is my design for a screen print. I drew the dream catchers with pen and ink, then made them into a pattern.
